Looking for a unique tama or replacement ball for your Kendama? Our Bio Core tamas are a made from a biodegradable plastic (PLA). This material has some interesting features compared to wooden tamas, including a rubberized ring in the bevel for stalls, reliable spherical shape that won't warp over time, elasticity (it can bounce!), and a consistent weight in the 80-85g range. This first batch of Bio Core tamas also has a thermochromic or color changing ability when the tama is exposed to heat. This swamp green tama changes to a yellow shade when heat is applied. If you like trying out unique Kendamas and new materials, this tama is a great option for you.
