So I bought this kendama because when I visited Japan, I bought a kendama for 800JP¥, and had a lot of fun with it but the cups came loose and keep falling off.
So I bought this one. The cups are larger and feel better. The ball is easier to spike. Two pairs of cups is fun to have. One pair fell off but this kendama is made much better and it was easy to glue back on. The string is shorter and the street-performer in Osaka had a longer string too. I assume this is because they use the same length string for all Kendamas and the dual-cup kendama is larger. This can be changed out however. Unlike with one cup there is no hole and the string is tied between the pairs of cups. The spike is glued in as a separate piece, and mostly cylindrical.
