Get back to basics, this is a perfect choice for the player who is looking for an affordable Kendama, but isn't willing to sacrifice playability.

Simplicity and playability were the focus in developing the Kendama USA Classic series. Made of birch wood, this Kendama is one of the lightest and softest in our collection. This is also the first Kendama we manufactured using the traditional 2 piece Japanese handle and stringing assembly, instead of the "fixed" handle style of the Tribute Kendama.

Please note that unlike the Tribute models, the Classics are a simplified product and do not include instructions, stickers, extra strings, or a metal reinforcement inside the handle.

Beautiful toy...slightly higher degree of challenge

Purchased this (2nd kendama I own) to use the ball as a part for another project. The toy is very beautiful on it's own (will keep it in tact for play) and more of a challenge (smooth, shiny finish) than the other one have, which has a non-shiny exterior on the ball. If you want a challenge and the satisfaction of achieving something when you land this shiny sphere on it's handle, this is the toy for you!
