As Kendama play evolves, so must our products. The Kendama USA team collaborated to design an updated Kendama shape that is superior in its performance. The result is the most well rounded and highest performance Kendama shape available today, the Nova Shape.
A NEW SHAPE AND SIZE FOR MAXIMUM PERFORMANCE
We spent over a year re-designing our Shift & Slim shapes with dozens of prototypes and input from the entire Kendama USA team. Using our very own Craft shop here in Atlanta GA, we tested numerous rounds of prototypes to refine a unique shape that every player will love. Our crew meticulously went over every detail and measurement to make sure this shape can hold up to every trick you can throw at it.
THE DETAILS MATTER
The Nova shape has been sculpted with performance and balance in mind. The Ken is thicker at the base and features a slightly more aggressive taper, giving the spike a sleeker profile. We tested several sarado options to ensure the shape is still honed for slingers while keeping optimum lunar balance. All the cups have been boosted in size making catching & flowing easier. The big and small cup rim arches, base cup ring, and slip ring have all been refined to help you lock in stall tricks easier. It also gives you a firm grip placement to give you more tactile feedback and confidence when doing tricks that require you to catch & release such as juggles and mooncircles. We added a base cup hole and refined our bevel. The Nova Shape is something we are truly proud of, and we can’t wait for you to play it.
