It us a really fun kendama. Im 12 and I bought it myself but after 1 day of using it, it had a lot of marks they don't affect the performance though.

I think it's awesome for my 1st Kendama. Love the style and the Pop the Bamboo makes! Very Fun and Addicting.

My brother got this as his first kendama 2 years ago, and has kept it as his go-to kendama. The bamboo ken softens with use, so it grips to the tama really nice, rather than the other way around. The paint is really well matched with this type of wood, so if it was on a different type of wood, like beech for example, it would feel way more slick. The bevel on the tama hole is large, perfect for learning airplanes. The only thing I'd improve on is the spike length. Lunars are more difficult with a shorter spike, but since tributes are targeted for more beginner kendama players, I wouldn't worry about it. You gotta try one!
